Senior Strategist

Forward is seeking a technology and experience obsessed Senior Strategist to help shape the work we do at Forward. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Senior Strategist will help manage projects, grow business, inform briefs, and lead a team in the execution of cool, fun, and relevant client work that helps to design a better world. We believe we can help our clients grow and reach their goals while considering our impacts to the environment and society. We know the power we have as purveyors of the digital future and are looking for a team member who wants to ensure we bring compelling and conscious solutions to our clients. 

The new team member will help build and optimize workflow, and ensure we are creating solutions and experiences for our clients that align with our brand values, the needs of audiences, and the needs of our clients. This senior role will be a touchpoint for other team members who want to know what’s really happening in the innovation space and what consumers actually want.

Responsibilities 

  • Manage and lead projects from inception to completion across a range of strategy practices, including research and insights generation, immersive experience design, marketing, communications design, and omni channel experience design. 

  • Develop and present projects leading insights and strategy. Communicate our strategic thinking with journey mapping, roadmaps, first-party research, and experiential client workshops.

  • Collaborate with a team of futurists, strategists, designers, technologists and producers to help innovate, inspire, and entertain.

  • Flex your marketing skills, using strategy to create a link between business and consumer needs; creating clear value for clients and end-consumers. 

  • Leading teams through consumer co-creation, prototyping, and implementation of programs and concepts.

  • Advise on and work with entertainment partners who are leading data innovation, experience design, infrastructure solutions, and business management of the digital entertainment ecosystem. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing or a related area of study, or 7+ years years of experience in business development

  • Experience working in the entertainment, technology, and social enterprise businesses

  • You have strong technical skills specific to immersive technologies; including web3, transmedia, and omniverse experience design 

  • 5 + years experience developing and implementing technology solutions

  • Demonstrated experience in advocating technology solutions and driving executive alignment

  • Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving experience

  • Strong passion for technology and staying abreast of industry trends

  • Proven ability to influence executives and peers without direct authority; experience leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders

  • Talented facilitator who skillfully leads strategy and planning discussions

  • Strategy and Roadmap development; Technology solution evaluation

  • You have led work that includes the following capabilities: Strategy, creative, user experience, interactive and transmedia design, brand experience 

  • Project leadership experience is required

  • Available to work evenings and weekends as required
